Diversified Technique

The Diversified Technique  is the most widely used chiropractic adjustment method. It involves high-velocity, low-amplitude thrusts that often produce the familiar “popping” sound associated with chiropractic manipulations or adjustments. This technique is taught in most chiropractic schools and is effective for restoring proper movement and alignment in the spine.

Extremity Manipulating/Adjusting

This technique extends chiropractic care beyond the spine to joints such as the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, and ankle. It’s especially beneficial for conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, gait abnormalities, and posture-related issues. Our goal is to restore joint mobility and reduce pain throughout the body.

Gonstead Technique

The Gonstead Technique is a precise, hands-on method that focuses on P-A (posterior-to-anterior) adjusting rather than rotary movements. It often involves X-ray analysis, palpation, and temperature gradient studies to determine which spinal segments require adjustment. This technique is known for its specificity and effectiveness.

Flexion/Distraction

Using a specialized table, the Flexion/Distraction Technique gently tractions and flexes the spine to treat disc herniations, degenerative conditions, and restricted joint mobility. It’s particularly effective for lumbar spine issues and is a preferred method for patients seeking gentle, non-surgical relief.

Thompson Technique

The Thompson Technique  uses a segmented drop table to assist with spinal adjustments. When the chiropractor delivers a thrust, the table drops slightly to help open the joint and minimize the force needed. This technique is ideal for patients who prefer a lighter touch.

Impulse Instrument Adjusting

The Impulse Adjusting Instrument® is a high-tech, FDA-registered device that delivers gentle, computer-controlled adjustments to the spine and extremities. There’s no popping or cracking—just precise, targeted care. Years of research have gone into its development, making it a safe and effective alternative to manual manipulation.

Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT)

The Sacro Occipital Technique uses triangular blocks placed under the pelvis to address low back issues. SOT is ideal for patients who need gentle care and can be used alone or alongside other chiropractic methods.
